Marion, who was known as Mor Mhor (Big Marion), married (marr. contr.,
dated, at Glasgow, 15th February 1613) John of Moidart, son of Sir
Donald MacDonald, 11th of Clanranald. [CLAN DONALD, III, p. 232.] Her
dowry was one hundred head of cattle and a twenty-four-oared galley
fully equipped. In a deed, [Quoted in THE MACLEODS OF DUNVEGAN, pp.
141-2.] dated 24th May 1633, her husband (now 12th of Clanranald)
settled certain lands in Uist on her on account of the 'entire love, favour
and affection that I bear towardes my loveing spouse'. The had issue.
