!SOURCE: John A Dunn, jadunn@@ok.freei.net 000701 Hello Mr. Ayars, I notice that several genealogical websites are now identifying the wife of Godred Crovan Haraldson and mother of Olaf (Bitling) the Red Godredson as (RAGNHILD) MARIA, daughter of Harald Hardrada, King of Norway, and Ellisif of Kiev. The sources I can identify seem to be Tom Bjornstad (Norway) and C. V. G. Young (Isle of Man). I wonder if you have an opinion about this connection. Of all the genealogical websites I visit, yours is certainly the best documented; I would very much value your opinion in this matter.
